Distinctive Achievement in Inter School Essay Writing Competition

Nitika Dhawan, student of Class V of the School is the proud winner of 3rd Position (Junior Category) in HT PACE – NMNH Inter School Essay Writing Competition -2016. The students of Mount Abu Public School got the privilege to be part of  Second round of ATL Innovation challenge  organized  by NITI AYOG (Planning Commission), Govt. of India. The project exhibited ORGANIC AIR PURIFIER using algae (Spirulena) & activated carbon to remove impurities as well as pollutants from air. The project was selected as one of the top 500 innovative ideas that enclose the benefits of our surroundings. The work of the young learner was appreciated as the idea is in syn with Delhi's current situation and requires an immediate action .

Prateek Grewal, the student of Class XI brought laurels for the school by being selected at National Level "On the Spot Essay Writing Competition" for the topic Refugees are our collective concerns organised by NANHI CHAAN, a well known NGO. The competition was organised in various reputed schools across the country and Prateek Grewal's essay represented the winning entry for Delhi State. He received an I PAD for his exemplary writing skill in a ceremony organised at Vasant Valley School.


Technology Connect Classrooms..... Smart Association with Parents

The School launched the Snap Homework App which is an attempt to create Technology Connect Classrooms aimed at developing a smart association with the parents. The app was launched in the presence of valued media personnel and the parents. The representatives of the Snap App informed all about the utility of the app which is a bridge between the teachers and the parents. The Principal of the school highlighted the use of technology in today's era. Shooting Star

The school feels proud to have Mohit Kumar Agnihotri of Class XII being declared as the best shooter in 3rd Eklavy Shooting Competition held at Shooting Spot Ghaziabad on 10th May 2016 . The budding shooter won the First Position in 10 meters Rifle Event Champion of Champion (COC) and brought laurels for the school. Silky Arora of Class X and Himanshu Jain of Class XI were acclaimed for showcasing excellence in Music and Sanskrit by Rasikapriya, a well versed carnatic music institute on 8th May 2016 at Aishwarya Mahaganpati Temple, Keshav Puram where the devine institute celebrated its 18th Annual Day promoting music and other traditional activities. MAPS Quizzers at Their Best

The school got its Quizzers awarded for their excellent quizzing at National Level Finance Olympiad organized by Manav Rachna University wherein six teams from India and abroad participated. The students Mayank Mittal, Riya Vohra, Gautam Sharma and Rishabh Srivastava won the Third Position, bagged the trophy and a cash prize of Rs 5000/-each. The students of Class VIII got the privilege to learn Samulnori, a gene of traditional percussion music originating in Korea. The workshop witnessed the enthusiastic students learning to play Samulnori instruments by the Korean artist from 30th Nov'2015. The workshop was organized with support of Korean cultural center. The vibrant students learnt playing of Samulnori musical instruments with immense zeal and enthusiasm.

Achievement in The Indo African Relationship Poster Making Competition

It is a matter of pride for the School that HIYAA BHARDWAJ of Class V has secured II Position at Regional level and won a cash prize of Rs 10000/- in The Indo African Relationship Poster Making Competition where students from all over India and abroad partricipated.


Mount Abu Public School organised a four days long trip to Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) for a group of students along with teachers. KIIS is an institute with difference where poor and under privileged tribal students get world class education. It is the largest free residential institute spread across 80 acres of land and has a well-built modern infrastructure to accommodate 25000 tribal children to provide free education from Kinder Garten to Post Graduation. The foundation leaves extra emphasis on upliftment of girls child in the tribal regions. The message of women empowerment is beautifully imparted by the ideologies of KISS foundation. The students of Mount Abu Public School were amazed to see their gender ratio 60:40 for the girls and the boys respectively. They had a chance to interact with some science students of Jharkhand who took them for round of their well-equipped modern labs, where certain tests like cancer, DNA cells etc. were conducted to get more understanding of concepts. The cultural programme presented by these tribal children, with their talent, expertise and diligence left the audience spell bound. The Mapians were fortunate enough to interact with the great visionary and founder of KISS Mr. Achyuta Samanta who had nurtured the dreams of thousands of tribal children and provided them the platform to excel with the main stream of society. Prof. Samanta addressed the children and shared experiences of his life and hardship faced by the tribal communities.

The KISS education institution is a great example of holistic education. It provides a complete, stimulating and nurturing environment that helps the young mind learn and grow. Keeping in view the all-round development of tribal children, here they are provided with vocational training in various realms -such as craftsmanship, pottery, embroidery and stitching etc. This approach helps to keep these tribal students rooted in their cultural and values as well as shape them as self-reliant individuals. It strives to ensure that each tribal student shall become an International Citizen in real sense.

Apart from this the Mapians also had an opportunity to participate in literary fest organised by KIIT International School, the twin sister of KISS, where they were delighted to interact with eminent litterateur Padam Bhushan Ruskin Bond.

Visiting KISS was informative to the students in both academic and cultural sense. It added experience in the life of children. Such programmes are always a unique opportunity to enrich the knowledge of oneself. It provides quality education and build balanced personality while keeping abreast addressed of development in all the realms.


“A Budding Writing Wizard”

“A pen is mightier than a sword” Prateek Goyal of class 10th proved this by bagging 4th Position in the 44th Universal Postal Union Letter Writing Competition-2015 that is conducted nationwide every year for the student under the age of 15. The theme of the competition was “The world you want to grow up in”. He would be felicitated with a cash prize of Rs.1000 and a consolation certificate issued by Secretary (Posts) Govt. of India, Ministry of Communication, Department of Posts. Under the able aegis of teachers, he holds his head high in the area of creative writing. The school accolades and rejoices the achievement and looks forward to such feathers in the cap.

School get another feather on its cap when Mansidaque of Class VIII got Ist Position at District Level and IInd Position at State Level in a Painting Competition organised by Government of India, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Earth System Science Organization. She showcased her awesome artistic skill on the theme "Environment Day" highlighting the topic "Indispensable Resourses". The winner was awarded with a certificate and a trophy.


The School got the privilege to host the National Level Painting Competition on the theme “Climate Change” on 12th Aug 2015 by Department of Science and Technology (DST) in collaboration with Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change(MOEF & CC), Govt. of India and Vikram A Sarabhai Community Science Centre(VASCSC), a sister organization of the Centre of Environment Education(CEE). Three master pieces of artistic skill by Somya Kataria, Ishika Dayal and Lisha Sharma are among the top 156 paintings shortlisted nationally to be used as exhibits on the external windows of the Science Express- Climate Change Special- A unique science exhibition which would be flagged off in September, 2015 by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. The Principal appreciated the three winners and blessed them for the success to come.

The School got another feather in its cap when the Kathak Maestro Raghav Monga got the opportunity to perform at 19th National Youth Festival 2015 held at Guwahati. The kathak specialist Raghav along with the accompanists Ankit Singh as “Padant” Ayush Garg on Harmonium and the mentor Salman khan on Tabla performed brilliantly and left audience spell bound. The participants were felicitated with a participation certificate special performance on the special closing ceremony graced by hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi. Other eminent personalities that graced the occasion included Sushil Kumar (Wrestler), Marry Kom (Boxer), Jwala Gutta (Badminton Player) and many other famous personalities. The Principal congratulated the children for their brilliant performance.


23 - 26 December, 2014

To create an understanding of Tribal communities, their culture, Education pattern and tradition Mapians got an opportunity to visit KIIT (Bhubaneshwar) Odisha under the multi-cultural exchange programme wherein a group of students from classes VIII – X along with the teachers visited the campus of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences. It was really an enriching experience as students discussed about the life, Education and culture there with the tribal communities.

The students visited different labs where certain tests were conducted for example- DNA, Cancer cells etc. The Principal Mr. Sanjay Suar addressed students and made them clear about the aims and objectives of the institute.

The entire trip was full of information. Students were taken for sightseeing- Jagannath Puri, Sun temple Konark, Chilika lake, Ashokan edict and Nandankanan zoological park. They also enjoyed the hostel life. The intermingling with the tribal students gave them chance to enrich themselves different culture and tradition( along with food).

Founder of the KIIT Prof. Achyuta Samanta also addressed the children and shared his experiences of life and the hardships faced by the tribal communities. He even distributed souvenirs to the students.

All together the visit proved to be a wonderful enriching experience.

Artistic Expression gets Rewarded

Vaibhav Butola, student of Class X of the School brought laurels by getting First Position in On the Spot Painting Competition at BSE 3rd INTERNATIONAL LIFE SKILLS, VALUES, GENDER, SCHOOL HEALTH AND WELL BEING SUMMIT 2014 in association with CBSE held at Summerfield School, Kailash Colony, where about 160 students from all over the country participated. He is awarded with Trophy, Medal, Certificate and Book for their splendid performance.


Musical Genius at Par

Students of MAPS participated in Sur Sangeet Competition at BSE 3rd INTERNATIONAL LIFE SKILLS, VALUES, GENDER, SCHOOL HEALTH AND WELL BEING SUMMIT 2014 in association with CBSE held at Summerfield School, Kailash Colony. Four Students of the School Somya Kataria, Erin Vijay, Khyati and Himanshi participated and secured meritorious position for their song on Gender Sensitivity. They were awarded with Trophy, Medals, Certificates and Books for their splendid performance.


It is a matter of great delight that Madhur Aggarwal, student of class X at Mount Abu Public School has released a Story Book of his original composition "A Race in Mousy Africa" with pseudo name Franklin Cheesy Paw. The book describes the adventures of a mouse and his family. It depicts his creative and original linguistic skills. An essay writing competition was held in the school on 14th November 2014 on the occasion of Children's Day. The competition was organised by Samalakha Group of Institutions. Himanshi Dass of Class XI who expressed her views on the topic “Education and Employability” got the IInd Position and was felicitated with certificate and cash Prize of Rs. 2000/-

The school achieved immense glory when Raghav Monga, student of Class XII got First Position at State Level Solo Classical Dance where students from different zones participated. It is a matter of great pride for MAPS that Somya Kataria of Class VI of the school has been shortlisted to participate at State Level for her aesthetic Painting made by her at State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation organised by POWER FINANCE CORPORATION LTD. Around 6.24 lakh students participated and 50 names were shortlisted. Somya Kataria was one of them. The School applauds her unique achievement.


Proud Winner of Learning through Fun Challenge

Intelligence attained heights when Saumay Upadhyay of Class X was declared as the topper in "Learning through Fun Challenge" Contest organised by NIE, The Times of India Group and got awarded with a Samsung Galaxy Tab. The Principal Ms. Jyoti Arora congratulated the winner on showcasing his scientific and mathematical aptitude and blessed him for the future competitive rounds to follow.

Champions in Making

The School achieved sporting delight when the two students Shubham Dhyani and Shivansh Bhatia bagged I and III Position respectively at U-21 Delhi State & Inter District Table Tennis Tournament held on 16th Nov. 2014 The achievement exhibits the students' regular practice and preservence to achieve greater heights.


Mount Abu Public School, Sector -5, Rohini won the first S.P. Bhatia Memorial Cricket Tournament by defeating its arch rival by scoring 94 runs in 30 overs. Gautam Dahiya got the award for the best batsman of the tournament and best man of the match. Yash Nishal got the best bowler award and Om Chand got the best wicket keeper award. All the team members got the trophy and sports dress for their wonderful performance. The Principal appreciated the cricketers for their magnificent shots.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in collaboration with Central Board of Secondary Education organised a Valedictory Function of the Sanskrit Week celebrations on 13 th August 2014 . The Union Human Resource Development Minister, Ms. Smriti Irani was the Chief Guest at the function. Eminent educationists from all over India graced the occasion. The Minister gave away the awards to all the successful students. Samarth Malik of Class IX of our school bagged 3rd Position in Sanskrit Games Competition. He was awarded the Medal and a Certificate for his innovative idea to learn Sanskrit through games.


The students of Class X of the School got the golden opportunity to visit the Parliament House to watch the proceedings of the Lok Sabha session that was primarily based on the railway budget. The children witnessed the question answer session wherein the different MPs had a healthy discussion about the proposed budget and also presented their problems to rewamp the system in said amount. The students watched the Speaker of the House working diligently to control the movement of the members of the House in the most efficient way. The visit helped the students to be aware of the most important feature of the Democratic Country.


Iftesam Khan, the outstanding champion of Taekwondo grabs another excellent achievement by securing Gold Medal in Sr. U-53kg Weight Category, Gold Medal in Poomsae (Pair) Weight Category, Gold Medal in Jr. U-52kg weight category, Gold Medal in Poomsae(Individual) weight category in the 7th District Taekwondo Championship held from 4th May 2014 at Shiv Mandir Dharamshala Auditorium, Narayana, New Delhi.


We are proud to announce that Akshay Anand, one of the student members of the Eco club of the School participated in Jenesys Program 2014 sponsored by the Japanese International Corporation Centre (JICE) in collaboration with the Department of Environment, Govt. of NCT, Delhi, India . He visited Japan under this program. Under the program, the Japanese Government undertook a new youth exchange program between Japan and Asian countries to revitalize the Japanese economy and promote global understandings on Japanese Values and Environmental issues. The entire program took place at Fukuoka, Japan. The trip was from 26th May,2014 to 3rd June, 2014.




Ashwani Jha and Harshit Tanwar of class XII under the guidance of Mr. P.K. Gupta participated in CBSE REGIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION held at Rukmini Devi Public School, CD Block, Pitampura on 6th May to 9th May,2014 and brought laurels to the School with their model on “ Effect of Electrical Impulse on Plant Growth” selected for NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION

The school feels proud to proclaim the selection of six of its students in the National round of National Finance Olympiad organized by Education Times for classes VIII – XI. Initially the first round was held in the schools out of which 35 schools were selected for the next level and ultimately six Schools qualified to participate at the National Level among which proud Mapians also participated to compete.

Aniket Mitra of Class VIII proved "A Brush dances on the tune of an Artist and portrays a beautiful painting that has no Match" when he adjudged the winner in the crowd of more than 140 budding painting artists in "Art and Me " - A state level poster making competition organized by BILT on the theme "India in my view". The moment of joy and pride reached to its apex when this talented painting genius of MAPS was felicitated with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- . The entire MAPS fraternity congratulates him for his remarkable achievement.


Winners always win, no matter where they stand

Times Of India organized an Aptitude test for the students of classes VIII-X where Abhishek Chand of class X was Adjudged the highest scorer at the school level and was awarded with the Certificate and Samsung Galaxy Tab-3. Further the moment of pride was when Saumay Upadhyaay of IX and Nikhil Kumar of X made their entry to the second level with 178 students from other schools. 


Quizzical Minds bring Laurel for third year in a Row

Quizzical minds of MAPS participated in JMVIX Inter School Quiz Fest organized by Jain Mrigavati Vidyalaya where they gave tough competition to 21 teams and cross the threshold to the final rounds with 6 other Challenging teams. Their sharpness of mind and the knowledge around the world proved put to be the great help to lead them with the highest scores on the score board and finally defeating them all were declared the winners of the quiz. This was the joyous moment for every MAPIAN as it was a third time victory in a row.


Genius is a fire born out of the flame of talent

It is well said for Yash kashyap of class VII whose hard work and perspiration bore the fruits of success for him in the State level Intel Examination organized by Econs Solutions where he outshine everyone with his brilliance of mind and secured 2nd position in Delhi State. He was felicitated with a Certificate of Appreciation and a Tablet for his remarkable achievement.


Opportunity dances with those already on the dance floor

It is well said for the dancing feet of MAPS, Nidhi Aggarwal, Raghav Monga and Sonal B. John, that never stop and for whom Dancing is a passion and no less than worship. They displayed their beautiful and charismatic moments in the Auditions of National Youth Festival organized by Directorate of Education, held at Chatarsal Stadium on 21st December 2013 and left everyone mesmerized with their graceful Bharatnatyam and Kathak performances making their way in to the Nationals to be held at Ludhiana on 11th & 12th January 2014.


Declamation Competition by Road Safety Cell

To create awareness among students on road safety aspects and develop skills among them for appropriate action in various traffic situations, the Road Safety Cell organized Declamation Competition on 21st December 2013, held at Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar where our Students Himanshi Samyal (V), Saumya Kanyal (VIII) and G. Indrani (XI) participated and radiate forth their innovative ideas for how to maintain traffic discipline and make the Roads of Delhi Safer for its Users in the city that captivated the attention of everyone present there. They were well applauded for their unmatched performance. Himanshi Samyal was declared 2nd whereas Saumya kanyal got 3rd prize for their remarkable speeches.



The intellect rose to its pinnacle when two of the students Akash Verma and Pulkit Tanwar secured Third Position in ALL INDIA CROSSWORD COMPETITION organized by CBSE in collaboration with SUDHA MILK CORPORATION held at YMCA, where, about 32 teams from all over India had participated to exhibit their knowledge. The Principal applauded for their brilliant achievement & blessed them for their future endeavors.

To let the students attain the pursuit of trivial knowledge, achieve academic excellence and increase their awareness of the world around them, Sri Balwant Institute of Technology, Sonepat organized Quiz Whizz-2013 at Hansraj Model School, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi wherein About 40 teams from all over Delhi participated. the MAPS team of Pulkit Tanwar, Prateek Awasthi and Aakash Verma was composed and took well calculated risks from the very first round of the Quiz, displaying great synergy and team work, they battled hard against other teams and finally turned out to be the quiz master defeating all.

Inter School Crossword Contest

The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) in collaboration with Sudha Milk Cooprative, Bihar, organised the state round of Inter School Crossword Contest on 12th November, 2013 at Springdales School, Pusa Road. 42 Schools from all across Delhi and NCR region participated in the event and the team of our school Pulkit Tanwar, Akash Verma and Apoorva Grewal bagged the FIRST POSITION. They were awarded individual medals and were qualified for the National round as state winners.


Laurels at the District Level

The cultural ethics once again got revoked in the premises of Mount Abu Public School when the student group of Folk Dance & Folk Song stood first at the District Level and are all set to compete with complete rythem ans enthusiasm at the state level to be held later.The students performed the dance and song with complete gusto and left the audience spellbound with their wonderful performance. French Olympiad

The thirst for learning foreign language has increased in the present world. Even formal training of any foreign language serves as a benefit to man in establishing his successful career. Thus keeping this aim at the prime importance, the school conducted French Olympiad for the students of classes in collaboration with ‘Education and Beyond' associated with French Embassy, wherein about 77 students participated with great zeal and 21 students have been selected for National Level.

Ankush Bains, the Cricket star of the school, set a record with his wonderful skills of playing Cricket when he got selected in the U-19 Himachal Pradesh State Team which he played about 4 league Match and defeating all his teams, finally swayed into the quarter finals.

The list of his achievements never ends. He further got his selection for the team of Himachal Pradesh Ranji Trophy which will start from 13th Feb 2013.




Mount Abu Shines in State Level Painting Competition

A state Level Painting Competition organized by Power Finanace Corporation Ltd. of India was held at CSMRS Auditorium, Hauz Khas on the theme of Water and Energy Conservation. Five students from the school participated for the same and produced the remarkable piece of art in the form of posters where three of them by Tarak shukla, Uttkarsh Tripathi and Sarvesh Arora were based on the water conservation and two on energy conservation byChirag Sethi and Anirudh Dabas. The preliminary round for the same was held first at the school where all students of classes IV-VI participated and three best entries were selected for state level participation. In all about four lakh students from all over Delhi participated and 50 best paintings were selected by the judges. In the inventory of selected students excelled the name of Mount Abu public School with all its five entries being selected. All the selected participants were felicitated with the cash prize of Rs. 1000/- for their selection and two of our entries by Tarak Shukla and Sarvesh Arora also got the consolation prize that again amounted to Rs. 1000/-. The school fraternity applauds and congratulates all the participants for their creditable triumph.


School Visits the President of India

It was the rarest opportunity for the children of the school to visit the President house and be with the most Prestigious personality of the Nation on 14th November 2012. The children along with the Principal Mrs. Jyoti Arora and a teacher representative, met the Hon’ble President of India Sh. Pranab Mukherjee in the Rashtrapati Bhavam premises and got themselves completely immersed in the intellectualism and charisma of the head of the Nation who is known for his extreme passion for the nation and a sense of serenity. Known as a prolific reader, he blessed the children for the best of their future and appreciated them for their kind concern for the nation.

Manan Singhal of class X visited Japan under the programme of Jenesys in the Nov Batch 2012, He was one of those children who got selected for the programme on the basis of academics and performance in co-curricular activities .The students had a wonderful time exchanging the school curriculum with each other and knowing more about the culture and tradition of the country. They were taken for the visit to the important tourist place whereby they could learn the beautiful culmination of language and culture. Proud Winners of City Level Science Drama Contest

It is a proud moment for the school to be adjudged as a WINNER at City Level Science Drama Contest 2012-13 organized by National Science Center, Delhi. 70 schools from across the city participated; our school performance got FIRST POSITION. Rohit Chander, one of the participants was declared as Best Actor and Ms. Anjali Sharma, Teacher In charge as the Best Director for the event. The students are now qualified to participate at State Level Science Drama 2012-13. They’ll be representing the North Zone.

This programme is organized every year to encourage the students, teachers and other science communicators to explore and experiment with the dramatic form as a means of communication. Theatre or drama is an age-old cultural form of our society, which has been used through the ages for entertainment, recreation and also as a medium of social interaction.

Osheen Martolia and Aishwarya Dimri of class XII under the guidance of Mrs. Chanchal participated in CBSE REGIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION held at Mount Abu Public School,Sec-5, Rohini on 17th August and 18th August 2012 and brought laurels to the school with their model on ‘Dental Pulp Stem cells – A Gift of Smile” being selected for NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION.

Shreya Kaura of class IX became the winner at city level in Tata Essay Writing competition. The winner was awarded with a trophy, certificate and a handicam by the Chairman of CBSE at a special function.




Mount Abu School Shines At National Youth Festival

Excellent rhythmic movements of the dancers of the School, Added another glory to its alma matar by winning the National Level competition, thereby successfully reaching the Stage at NATIONAL YOUTH FESTIVAL held at Bangalore .The folk dance of Odissa, Ranappa performed by the students of the school was adjudged the best among the 32 state teams that had performed their own dances at the National Level thus managed to reach the finale at Bangalore . The program Inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Bangalore witnessed a mesmerizing performance by the artists of the school who got a great applaud by the eminent guests and the audience.


Its a matter of pride that Shruti Arora has been awarded a scholarship of Rs. 80,000/- 80,000 per year for five years, Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) under Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) and Abhishek Mittal has been awarded with certificate of Merit on the basis of outstanding performance from CBSE.

Gold Medal in National Table Tennis Championship

Once again came the moments to rejoice and cherish when ABHISHEK JAGGI, representing the School in U-19 National Table Tennis Championship held at Gujrat, seized a GOLD MEDAL on his name. Ifetsam Khan participated in National Taekwondo Championship held at Jammu & Kashmir on 4 th and 5 th December, where she added the feathers in the school cap with 2 gold,1 silver and 1 bronze medal and was titled the ‘Taekwondo Star of the Championship'. She participated in 4th South - west (kyorugi) District Taekwondo Championship 2011 and won Gold Medal, in 4th South - west (Poomsae) District Taekwondo Championship 2011 won 2 Gold and 1 Silver Medal, in 4th North - east (kyorugi) District Taekwondo Championship 2011 won Gold Medal and in 28th Delhi State Poomsae & Kyorugi Championship she won 1 Gold, 1 Siver and 1 Bronze Medal.
Ankush Bains, a phenomenal cricketer is recognized for his invincible ccomplishment in the under-14 School National Games and State Championship in the year 2009 and 2010 where he represented school and Himachal Pradesh State. Further, he went for International Championship 2010 held at Pakistan and School Indian Games under -15 against Australia.

Table Tennis sensation Abhishek Jaggi has been setting new milestones every time he plays. Recently he won the silver medal in National level Table Tennis Championship held at Indore besides his first position in Under 16 CBSE Cluster Table Tennis Championship, Silver medal with a cash prize worth Rs. 5,000/ in District and State Level Table Tennis Tournament and many Gold medals at school level tournaments.

Our Karnataka folk dance ‘Dholu Kunutha', has received the honours everywhere in the competition organized by Directorate of Education, be it Interschool, zonal, District or State levels for its beautifully choreographed dancing steps and stunts .

The best achievement for the school was its proud participation in the Inaugural Ceremony of Common Wealth Games 2010 where our students spell bound the audience with their breathtaking performance.

It was our proud moment when our dance stars won the Dayavanti Somavanti Memorial Inter School Folk Dance rolling trophy for the fourth consecutive years at Yuvashakti Model School, Rohini, Delhi.

The music maestro of our school bagged the second position in the Inter Zonal Instrumental Music Competition, whereas In the Inter School Solo Dance held at D.A.V Public school sec-7 Rohini, Nidhi Aggarwal got third position
Shreya Dalmia of class X received the felicitation with cash prize of Rs. 25,000 by our honorable Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dikshit for her beautifully painted pmoster on the theme of Environmental concern in the event organized by the Dept. of Environment.

Samta jain of class VII participated in the competition organized by ministry of Power and Finance where Samta jain was selected for National level and received a cash award of Rs. 25,000.
The Painting by Art Genius, Niharika Sharma has recently been declared as one of the best ten master pieces of creative art by Hong Kong Tourism.

The Dramatic Duo Apoorva Grewal and Krishna Vohra spell bound the audience with their dramatics excellence, the presentation of English Classics, King Lear at Vikas Bharti Public School and lifted the Best Acting Award.
Team of three students won cash prize of Rupees 9000/- for their remarkable attempt in SPELLINC Word cracking 2010 competition organized by Linc Pens Pvt. Ltd.
In the Advertisement presentation organised by Teri Foundation on environmental issues, the school was declared the third best among 57 participating schools of Delhi and NCR.
