Accolades for Mount Abu Public School

THE ARTISTIC HUES BRING GLORY
The School’s artists Somya Kataria and Aryan Jindal got the Glorious Achievement at Jansankhya Sthirtha Kosh in collaboration with Ministry of Health and Family (MH.F.W). The competition was organized at Nehru Planetarium on 3rd July 2017. 400 participants from across the reputed schools of the city participated to mark the celebration of World Population Day. Somya Kataria of Class IX was felicitated with Cash Prize of Rs. 5100 and a Certificate and Aryan Jindal of Class VI was awarded with the Cash Prize of Rs. 3100 and a Certificate for securing 1st and 2nd Position respectively. The winners were felicitated by Shri J.P Nadda, the Hon’ble Union Minister. The school fraternity congratulates their accomplishments and wish them success for future endeavor.
Glorious Felicitation for the School
The School was felicitated with a ‘Special Prize’ by Korean Culture Centre, India, Embassy of Republic of Korea for its exemplary participation in ‘All India 4th Korea-India Friendship Essay Competition’. The competition was a platform for the intellectual minds to raise the awareness and generate interest in geographical, political and general knowledge of the world. The competition made students ponder over the cross connection of international and regional cultures.
Myriad Achievements of Students at Inter District Cultural (State Level) Competition
The students showcased their acumen in a wide array of competitions and emerged as winner in various events in Inter District Cultural (State Level) Competition. Mansavi Sinha & Ritika Gilani bagged First Position in Junior Girls Category. Silky Arora won First Prize for Light Music & Satwiki Chawla & Palak Agrawal got First Position for Collage Making In Visual Art. The winners were then felicitated with Cash Prize of 1000/- each alongwith Certificates in a grand function at Chhatrsal Stadium on 7th April’ 2017

Hrishabh Sehrawat of Class X was adjudged as the “Winner of the School” out of 137 students qualifying for the second round of Aptitude Test conducted by NIE, Times of India on 12th Feb 2017 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. He proved his extraordinary skills in General awareness and Arithmetic and was awarded with an Iball Slide Tab and a Certificate.
Saksham Quiz 2017
Hrishabh Sehrawat and Gautam Sharma achieved yet another milestone by representing Delhi in the North Zone in ‘Saksham Quiz 2017’ on 17th February 2017 in association with Doordarshan organized by PCRA to be telecasted by Doordarshan soon. The journey of the duo in qualifying the School, District State and then Zonal Level opened for them series of opportunities ahead.
PROUD CINEMATOGRAPHERS OF MAPS
The School got magnificent success as Gautam Sharma, Saurabh Kalia, Keshav Aggarwal, Rohan Iyer and Tushar Rai won the 1st Prize at National Level Movie Making Competition organized by Help Age India Foundation. The mega event witnessed the participation of thousands of school children across length & breadth of the country. The video presented by the students is a reflection that the country’s new generation acknowledges the concerns and problems of the elderly. They were felicitated with a Trophy, Certificate and a Cash Prize of Rs. 5000 for their exclusive creativity in making a movie on the topic ‘Me at 64’.
Laurels for the School
Rashi Bahtmi, the student of class IV achieved the milestone as her painting was shortlisted as one of the best 30 paintings out of 940 paintings made by the students of various schools across the country for “Japan on Canvas 2016” contest. ARTISTIC STROKES ACHIEVES EXCELLENCE AT NEHRU PLANETARIUM
The School bagged the Institutional Trophy for the third consecutive year at the Annual Space Art Contest held at Nehru Planetarium on 13th February, 2017. Anushka Rai of Class X got the First Position whereas Prasidh Awasthi of Class II and Hardik Rana of Class VII got Third Position along with Ayushmita Sen of Class II who was the Winner of Consolation Prize. The event witnessed the participation of various reputed schools across Delhi and NCR.
Distinctive Achievement Under School Enterprise Challenge 2016

It was a matter of immense honour and pride for the school when a group of 150 students showcased their vibrant presentation of Assam Nritya Shaili at Rajpath on 26th January 2017. OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AT NATIONAL LEVEL ABACUS CHAMPIONSHIP 2016
It is a matter of immense pride for the school fraternity as two students Chetan Singla of III and Tanmay Kumar of IV have bagged National Level Championship in National Abacus Olympiad 2016, where 6500 students participated from 77 schools all over India in the championship. The students of Mount Abu Public School got the privilege to be part of Second round of ATL Innovation challenge organized by NITI AYOG (Planning Commission), Govt. of India. The project exhibited ORGANIC AIR PURIFIER using algae (Spirulena) & activated carbon to remove impurities as well as pollutants from air. The project was selected as one of the top 500 innovative ideas that enclose the benefits of our surroundings. The work of the young learner was appreciated as the idea is in syn with Delhi's current situation and requires an immediate action .

The competition was organised in various reputed schools across the country and Prateek Grewal's essay represented the winning entry for Delhi State. He received an I PAD for his exemplary writing skill in a ceremony organised at Vasant Valley School.
Technology Connect Classrooms..... Smart Association with Parents
The School launched the Snap Homework App which is an attempt to create Technology Connect Classrooms aimed at developing a smart association with the parents. The app was launched in the presence of valued media personnel and the parents. The representatives of the Snap App informed all about the utility of the app which is a bridge between the teachers and the parents. The school feels proud to have Mohit Kumar Agnihotri of Class XII being declared as the best shooter in 3rd Eklavy Shooting Competition held at Shooting Spot Ghaziabad on 10th May 2016 . The budding shooter won the First Position in 10 meters Rifle Event Champion of Champion (COC) and brought laurels for the school. Silky Arora of Class X and Himanshu Jain of Class XI were acclaimed for showcasing excellence in Music and Sanskrit by Rasikapriya, a well versed carnatic music institute on 8th May 2016 at Aishwarya Mahaganpati Temple, Keshav Puram where the divine institute celebrated its 18th Annual Day promoting music and other traditional activities. The school got its Quizzers awarded for their excellent quizzing at National Level Finance Olympiad organized by Manav Rachna University wherein six teams from India and abroad participated. MUSICAL CONNECTION WITH KOREA
The students of Class VIII got the privilege to learn Samulnori, a gene of traditional percussion music originating in Korea. The workshop witnessed the enthusiastic students learning to play Samulnori instruments by the Korean artist from 30th Nov'2015. The workshop was organized with support of Korean cultural center. The vibrant students learnt playing of Samulnori musical instruments with immense zeal and enthusiasm.
